Our new composers and their works designs

By Clare

We are so excited about this new line of designs - The art of composers and their works!

In this series of designs, we are using the work titles of a chosen composer to make up the image of the composer! So it looks something like this for example:

We debated between using some key words representing the life of a composer and using work titles to make up the image of the composer. We think both look great. In the end, we decided to try it with work titles first, because in a way it feels like these are the life contributions of the composer that makes up this composer, if you know what I mean. The works throughout the composer’s life represents the life of this composer.

It feels meaningful and sophisticated! We feel true music lovers can definitely show off their love for music with The Art of Composers’ Works series!

Only after we have received our samples we can say this - they turned out great! It just feel so much better when you can hold it in your hand to read it instead of reading from the computer screen! (In case you are wondering about the printing, most of the small text are legible, but the smallest ones are there for filler to make up the image, so they may be a little blurry!)

Currently we have made products for 10 composers. Each design has three variations: original, coloured text, and white text! Some designs also include navy or oxblood black (which is like a dark brown with a slight shade of red like the Medtner shirt Scott is wearing below). Each variation feels different in their presentation and their level of abstract sense. Pick the one you like the best, or one of each for the different moods!

If you didn’t see your favourite composer listed, feel free to make a suggestion to us! We always love to hear what you think! We love this series so much that we think we will be wearing them all the time now, haha! So we hope you can enjoy it with your favourite composers as well!
